RISK PROJECT MANAGER

Description
The MCIO Risk Group is looking for a risk management professional with well-rounded experience in risk management, including risk identification and risk review/monitoring, but with strong emphasis in threat/vulnerability risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who wants to work in a dynamic environment supporting MCIO as the risk manager responsible for execution of TVRA and Geo-Risk assessments. This opportunity will require the successful candidate to summarize issues, risks, analytics, and decision points, in a concise manner and contribute to the reduction of financial, legal, reputational and operational exposures by providing soundly supported comprehensive risk assessments that assist senior management in making well-informed decisions. Our team manages diverse, complex programs on a global level and the candidate will need to have large scale experience to fit in well.

Responsibilities
This opportunity will require the successful candidate to coordinate with a virtual team of stakeholders and subject matter experts within MCIO and external to our business, such as CELA, Finance, and other engineering groups such as Office 365.

Well qualified candidates will possess the skills to mine and assess risk data and stage additional assessments for review by aforementioned stakeholders to ensure comprehensive assessment of threats, vulnerabilities, and remedial strategies specific to sites, cities, countries, and regions around the globe. 

The analysist will work at the direction of a Principal Global Risk Manager within the MCIO Risk organization and will be required to summarize / present risk assessment data to various levels of management on an ongoing basis.

Because needs within the MCIO Risk organization continue to evolve to meet the needs of MCIO at large, successful candidates will have the desire to accept additional job responsibilities within the Business Operations Risk Management team as needed.

Requirements
1. Proficiency in identifying, assessing, quantifying, and mitigating risks that may be present at Microsoft. 
2. Skill with risk management methodologies, and risk mitigation strategies.
3. Ability to mine, analyze, and summarize complex risk data in a way that is meaningful for various business groups and audiences
4. Adaptability, Cross Boundary Collaboration, Customer Focus, and Drive for Results.
5. Ability to think statically and provide impactful collaboration that leads to risk reduction cost savings.
